Registration now open

TAC is delighted to partner with FOCUS for its 2018 media industry networking, exhibition and conference event.

Following a highly successful 2017 event, FOCUS, the Meeting Place for International  Production, will return for its fourth year to the Business Design Centre London on 4–5 December 2018. The event will remain completely free to attend for industry professionals.

FOCUS is aimed at all creative screen industries, including film, TV, advertising, animation and interactive, and is the only UK trade event where attendees can meet with content makers, film commissioners, production services and locations providers from over 60 countries. Each December, the industry’s key players converge at FOCUS, transforming two days of meetings, networking events and seminars into deals and lasting business relationships.

Delegates can discover filming incentives, locations and services, to maximise screen value – for all production types and budgets – right through from development to post-production. Meetings with exhibiting organisations can be pre-arranged using the online scheduler.

The packed content programme features over 100 expert speakers, addressing the production industry’s key opportunities and challenges . The programme is developed in consultation with leading industry organisations, including the British Film Institute, British Film Commission, Pact, Directors UK, Advertising Producers’ Association, The Production Guild, Creative Skillset, UK Screen Alliance, Creative Europe Media Desk UK and Women in Film and TV.

Gareth Williams, TAC Chair, said: “We are delighted to be an industry partner in FOCUS 2018. The independent production sector in Wales is very active in finding partners and co-producers from all over the world, and this will be an excellent opportunity for TAC members to meet potential future colleagues. The content programme will also certainly be of interest to many as regards hearing expert opinion and sharing professional experiences.”

FOCUS 2017 Managing Director Jean-Frederic Garcia said: “We are delighted to welcome TAC as an industry partner. FOCUS 2017 celebrated its third year with record attendance and fantastic feedback from the production community. We are proud to present our fourth edition in December 2018. The FOCUS team is working hard to produce an even bigger and more exciting show for all sectors of the creative screen industries, whilst preserving the friendly, welcoming atmosphere, which is valued by our visitors and exhibitors.
