TAC briefs Parliamentary Committee on Broadcasting in Wales

On Monday 18 January, four members of TAC appeared before the House of Commons Welsh Affairs Committee at a specially-arranged session in Caernarfon.

Subjects covered included: BBC and commissioning in Wales, the role of the UK networks, S4C funding and independence and the future prospects for the sector in Wales.

TAC Chair Iestyn Garlick said: “We welcomed the Committee’s decision to hold the session in Wales very much, and the opportunity given to several TAC members to talk at length about the future of the sector. We greatly look forward to the Committee’s final report.”
