Policy

TAC’s policy work includes regular discussions with those who make decisions affecting our industry and the broader broadcasting and production sectors. TAC engages regularly with:

  • The Welsh Senedd and Welsh Government on broadcasting matters in Wales
  • The UK Government – including the Wales Office, UK Department for Culture Media & Sport (DCMS) and various parliamentary committees
  • Representatives of all political parties, to discuss the Welsh TV production sector and its cultural and economic importance
  • Ofcom and others to discuss broadcast regulation, public service broadcasting and related matters
  • The BBC executive and S4C to discuss policy matters

You can read our recent submissions to consultations and committee inquiries below.

If you wish to discuss any aspect of TAC’s current policy, please e-mail Tim Wilson, Media and Policy Adviser, or call 07909 560374.
