Disability Equality Action Training, 3 + 17 November 2020

As part of the TAC series of training sessions on aspects of diversity, we are pleased to announce that we will be holding a two-part session of Disability Equality Action Training on 3 and 17 November with leader Ruth Fabby from Disability Arts Cymru. Among the topics for discussion are: how important is language?; the Social Model of Disability; barriers; creating safe and accessible spaces; identifying access requirements and how to put them in place,  and creating group action plans.

S4C is committed to reflecting the Wales of today onscreen and behind the scenes – further details can be found in their current Commitment to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion. S4C is implementing the commitment, and taking steps to expand the sector and encourage a more diverse workforce. S4C wants to see and hear new contributors, voices and communities onscreen and creating content.

Note: these sessions are held in English. You are asked to commit to both sessions when you register. If you cannot attend both, please contact Rowena Griffin to express an interest in a set of alternative dates as it’s not possible to attend them separately.
